Welcome to my contact page.
I graduated in 1997 from Cornerstone College (now University) with a B.A. degree in secondary education with a history major and mathematics minor. I was hired at Thornapple Kellogg High School to teach within the social studies department in 1998. In 2003, I completed a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Valley State University. In 2014, I completed an additional 30 graduate credits with a focus on technology use and curriculum. I currently teach general world and United States history along with Advanced Placement United States History.
I have lived in the Middleville community all, but one of my teaching years. My family and faith are very important to me. I am married and have three kids. I enjoying the outdoors (hiking, fishing, camping, etc.), computers, reading, watching my kids compete athletically, and spending time with friends.
