“If you’ve been an Odyssey judge, coach or fellow TKOM team member, I can’t thank you enough for teaching me, for laughing with me, for brainstorming with me and for putting up with me,” she said.
Ellie plans to attend Grand Valley State University in the fall to major in exercise science and minor in biomedical engineering. After that, she hopes to attend graduate school to study to become a prosthetist and eventually open her own prosthetics practice.
The Michigan OM awards only five scholarships statewide each year.
