In our pursuit to continue to grow our Positive Behavior Program, we are starting a new fundraiser to support our building-wide incentives.
The Scrip fundraiser will generate funds for prizes that reward students through our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support) program. It is our goal to provide a continuum of positive behavior support and education for all students within Thornapple Kellogg High School, and it is implemented in areas including the classroom and non-classroom settings (such as hallways, buses, and restrooms). We aspire to proactively teach and reward positive behavior rather than simply punish misbehavior after it occurs. The Scrip fundraiser is an opportunity available through Great Lakes Scrip. This company offers TKHS the opportunity to purchase gift cards from local and nationwide businesses. Customers purchase retail gift cards through our program at face value and this provides our school the opportunity to receive a rebate for our fundraising efforts.
