Biography

I earned a BA in Art Education and a BFA in Painting & Printmaking from Central Michigan University.  I received my Masters in Education from GVSU.  I have been teaching at TK since the fall of 1999.  I am one of the co-founders of the TK Fine Arts Festival. I am also adviser to the Middle School Art Club & High School Art Club.  

I am passionate about Art and am excited to share it with students!  When I am doing my own work I often paint with oils. My favorite subjects are landscapes and animals.  I have shown my work at CMU, WMU, and the Holland Arts Council.  I am also lucky to have had my work chosen twice for street banners in downtown Holland.
