A message from High School Principal Tony Petersen

This is a great building filled with TK pride! Our staff wants our students to enjoy school and have fun, while at the same time being challenged with a rigorous curriculum, a balanced offering of elective classes, and a variety of extracurricular options. The TKHS staff, in cooperation with students, parents and the TK community, are committed to enabling every child to achieve his or her greatest potential.

We will give students tools they need to be successful once they graduate from TKHS - whether they are going into the workforce, attending a trade school, or moving on to college. We offer Advanced Placement Courses, dual-credit courses, and strong offerings in business, computer science, physical education, fine arts, and vocational areas. We teach and develop leadership skills, provide many opportunities for community service, and create an environment of helping others.

As soon as students enter high school, they become part of a TKHS family. Our staff builds positive relationships with students through our family settings and our focus on teaching and rewarding positive behavior.
