Twenty-four Thornapple Kellogg High School fall athletes were honored recently for outstanding seasons in the OK Gold Conference. Fourteen athletes received All-Conference honors and 10 athletes earned the All-Conference Honorable Mention honors.

Thornapple Kellogg High School students are excited to return to the stage and present two shows of Thornton Wilder’s play, “Our Town.” Performances will be at 7 p.m., Nov. 5 and 6 in the high school auditorium.

Congratulations to the October TK STRONG Leaders Blake Wright, Jonah Schilthroat, Eli Fliearman, Ava Kruisenga, and Braden Sharrar. Peers nominate students for displaying the TK Strong characteristics of being Safe, Trustworthy, Respectful/Responsible, Ownership, Nice and Giving! They are TK STRONG!

Thornapple Kellogg High School continued the tradition of crowing the Homecoming King and Queen at halftime of the football game. This year's royal couple are Matthew Middleton and Anna Benedict.

With pitchforks, shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, smiles and positive attitudes, Thornapple Kellogg High School Student Council members joined in Barry County United Way’s Day of Caring by spreading mulch and spreading hope.

Six Thornapple Kellogg High School students were honored today with the first of what will be monthly TK Strong Leadership Awards. The first honorees this year are Ava Hess, Gavin Czarnecki, Madilyn Chivis, Zoey Ring, Elizabeth Middleton, and Chase Dannenberg.

Although none of the high school students participating in Saturday’s 9-11 commemorative event were alive on that historic day, each played an important role in remembering the events and honoring all who died.
