MIAFS Gives Back to TK Music Program

Michigan Insurance & Financial Services, through their MIAFS Gives Back educational grant initiative, presented  TKHS Music Director Ray Rickert with a check for $500. Rickert said funds will be used to  purchase music stands and other supplies.

TKHS To Host Mock Drunk-Driving Accident

Don't be alarmed if you see police, fire and EMS at Thornapple Kellogg Schools Thursday afternoon. At about 1 p.m. the high school will host a mock accident on the service drive between the middle and high school buildings. Emergency crews will arrive just as they would to a real accident scene.

Big Screen Dreams Come True for Two TKHS Students

The movie “Rodeo Girl” had plenty of West Michigan connections, including performances by two Thornapple Kellogg High School students, when it debuted Saturday night. Kaleigh Aldridge and Derek Brandon, TKHS juniors, walked the red carpet before the premiere showing of the Joel Reisig film, then signed autographs and posed for photos with fans after the showing.
