Several honors were awarded recently to outstanding students in the TKHS bands and choirs.

Congratulations to the TK Concert and Honors Choir Graduating Class of 2020. While we might not have ended the year the way we would have liked, but we have had many great memories together! Enjoy this Tribute where the seniors share about their high school experiences and future plans.

TK seniors came back to school May 13 - two months since the COVID-19 virus abruptly ended their senior year as they knew it. They came back to pick up their graduation invitations, caps and gowns even though they still don’t know when or how they’ll be able to have any kind of graduation ceremony.

Fourteen Thornapple Kellogg High School athletes will continue their athletic careers at the college level. We want to congratulate each of these student athletes for their accomplishment and wish them all the best.

Thornapple Kellogg High School has announced the Top 10 students in the Class of 2020. This year’s class includes 231 members. The top 10 students (in alphabetical order by last name) are: Holly Bashore, Makayla Beardsley, Audrey Johnson, Claire Middleton, Matthew Newhouse, Cora Siuda, Ashley Snyder, Andrew Tuokkola, Zane Walters, Owen Woods.

Four Thornapple Kellogg High School filmmakers recently learned they are top 10 finalists in the Meijer Great Choices Film Festival. The film festival has six different categories with top 10 student-created public service announcements honored in each category.

TKHS senior Grace Densham loves contests and she’s no stranger to taking on a new challenge. When she spotted a contest notification on the whiteboard in her high school English classroom earlier this year, she inquired about it. The contest wasn’t part of the work included in her class, but it caught her eye and she couldn’t pass up the opportunity.
