Graduates toss their caps in the air.

TKHS Plans Drive-In Commencement Program

Thornapple Kellogg High School Class of 2020 will participate in graduation ceremonies at 7 p.m. July 16. The drive-in commencement program will allow one car per graduate to attend in the north parking lot of the high school.

Summer Brain Gain Courses Available

Kent Intermediate School District is offering free, two-week Summer Brain Gain courses for all students kindergarten through 12th grade. Sign up online now.

Work Permits!

Blank work permits will be on the rack located in the main entrance vestibule area. Work Permit pick up, or school approval on a completed permit can be done anytime during the following scheduled summer hours:

TKHS Writers Earn County Honors

Seven Thornapple Kellogg High School students won honors from the Barry Community Foundation Write Away Contest open to all high school students in the county. The top three winners in four categories were announced in late May.

TKHS Seniors Earn Awards and Recognition

Several senior awards and recognitions were announced during a Live Stream video on MiTK News YouTube channel Wednesday night. This is a list of senior awards, scholarships and recognitions including those presented Wednesday night as well as those announced through Thornapple Area Enrichment Foundation earlier.

TKHS Announces Senior Awards

Although the Class of 2020 wasn't able to gather together as usual for the Senior Honors program this year, the awards were announced during a live streaming program June 3. Congratulations to all of the seniors and their accomplishments.

TKHS Sets Graduation Date and Virtual Honors Night

Two major events for the Class of 2020 have been scheduled. The Honors Night will be held as a live virtual event at 7 p.m. June 3. Graduation will take place July 16.

Congratulations to the TK Concert and Honors Choir Graduating Class of 2020. While we might not have ended the year the way we would have liked, but we have had many great memories together! Enjoy this Tribute where the seniors share about their high school experiences and future plans.
